In the spirit of back to school week I give you one of the enfant terribles of contemporary theology David Strauss who said of one of his professors:
If Jesus Christ had studied theology with him, he would have abandoned Christianity before he even started it.
Buuuurn!!!! This definitely has to be in the top five religious/theological burns of all time. Man that had to hurt.
I, however, am fortunate enough to not share the same predicament, and am quite looking forward to my Fall classes.
