When Crazy Meets Religion

St. Paul woman suing over voodoo withdraws her case

Thanks to the power of prayer — and a near-accident — a St. Paul woman, Mary Nabila Muma, has withdrawn her federal lawsuit against her ex-husband. That’s the one in which she said another woman was using voodoo to steal Marcellus Muma from her…

A trip to a private retreat had changed her mind, she said. First of all, she prayed a lot and was able to forgive her ex-husband. Second, on the way to return her rental car, Muma lost control of the vehicle on a busy freeway.

“The police officers and all the people who saw the car and the scene of the accident instantly said that was divine intervention,” she wrote to the court. “I feel that God wants me to withdraw the case and hand Marcellus over to him.”

“I do not know how God intends to solve this mystery and wipe my tears,” she wrote. “All I know is God will answer my prayer in his own time.”

First someone is stealing your husband with voodoo then God gave you an accident so you would… forget it.

Even I can’t summon the wherewithal to comment on something this stupid.  The title says it all.

    That is retarded.

Obviously it was voodoo that caused the crash too.

What do you mean “when” crazy meets religion? Are you implying there’s a time when these two things are mutually exclusive?

“When Crazy meets religion”what a title. Everything is in God’s hands. The battle is not mine, it belongs to God. I hope you are following very closely what is happening with this my story.

Do you reality think, if my story didnot have some validity, a Big News Paper Like Star Tribune will want to destroy their reputation with some crazy voodoo stuff ? Please think and ask God to give you wisdom and understanding so you can understand spiritual battles. I hope God will soon educate you and many other people.

That news paper story attracted hundreds of readers and made a lot of people to think whether positively or negatively. You are just one of them, and it is OK for you to feel that this is Crazy Stuff.
