The April Biblioblog Top 50 has been released, and apparently first century philosopher Philo prophesied about this month’s list:
And I know not if anyone would be able to celebrate the nature of the number seven in adequate terms, since it is superior to every form of expression.1
Hmmm… I wonder who occupies the seventh position in this month’s ratings?

What number immediately precedes “7″?
This blog moved up 12 places on the Biblioblog Top 50; 12 is the sum of what two identical numbers?
The answers, Jake, are 6, 6 and 6: 666!
In addition, as we all know, “agathos” is the root word of Agatha, as in “Agatha Christie,” the famous mystery writer. Obviously, one choosing the name “agathos” would be interested primarily in obfuscation!
Also, “agathos” has a passing similarity to “agony,” which Peter warned about:
Sounds pretty “agonizing”! (Or should I say “agathizing?) And did you catch that? “Sober-minded!” …but how has “agathos” employed himself in recent years (when not catching pucks in his teeth–another painful venture!)? As a bartender! He doesn’t even deny it, the brazen cur!
