PZ Myers writes, “This is really well done: Darryl Cunningham explains global warming with simple, clear illustrations and explanations. I want to steal it all, put it in a pdf, and print out a few hundred copies to hand out to the deniers.”
To my friends in Northern Canada, and other places where it is snowing, there is also an explanation why recent local weather patterns are not useful determinants of historic global patterns. Yes it is cold and snowing, please don’t say, “So much for global warming, eh?”

Not balanced, or truthful. Global warming is a scam.
If the world doesn’t end in 2012, and pentecostal Jesus doesn’t come back, and we somehow live another 20 years – then I’ll say I told you so.

While your skill and expertise in certain areas are prodigious-and I would certainly step aside and respect your much more informed opinion on certain topics-I wonder what skill, study, or training would allow you to speak with such certainty concerning a scientific issue.
What scientific issues have you personally studied? What authors concerning this subject have you read? What peer-reviewed journals? What studies?
You may want to be more agnostic than certain…
