Joel at Unsettled Heterodoxy wrote a post critiquing the Catholic reading of Matthew 16, and Petrine primacy based on it. Then Michael Barber responded, and Doug Chaplin chimed in as well.

Do you think that either James or John may have been the Torch? It might explain their desire to call down fire from heaven.
