I’m not a psychiatrist, but I imagine that if that was your opening line in a psychological evaluation, you might get yourself committed for a little while.
I just love the Christian proclivity to understand any difficulty or temptation as Satan the father of all evil and head of demonic forces coming personally against them. Yes, you are so important that Satan himself had to take some time out of his busy schedule to combat Jesus with your life as the battleground… think too much of yourself? Much too much.

Much like the Witchfinders-General and their informants in the RL Burning Times (i.e. the war zones of the Thirty Years War and English Civil War), where Satan himself had nothing better to do than make your bucket of milk go sour or make your cow have a miscarriage.
