It would be hard to have a career more defined by over the top schlock than Carman. But somehow, someway, just when you thought that one of his videos had to be the cheesiest thing you’ve ever seen, someone else posts a new video of his to Youtube, and the horror and memories of your childhood begin to resurface.

I have no idea what the lyrics are to the second clip but it’s pretty obvious she must be rebuking the spirit of tone-deafness in herself.

My husband walked into the room when I was watching this and the look on his face was one of sheer terror. He confessed that his mom took him to a Carmen concert when he was younger, and we didn’t know wether to laugh or cry
