It’s ironic that the critique some Pentecostals used to make of rock music – that it reflected spiritist traditions – could more legitimately be directed at this sort of thing ..
.. and in five seconds someone will be along to tell me not to touch the lord’s annointed.
Having lived in the Third World I was doing fine until the woman came and beat on the mannequin with a crutch.
I laughed. A lot. Thanks, Scott.
That was one of the WEIRDEST pieces of Street Theater I’ve seen. Kind of like the Muslim pilgrimage tradition of Stoning the Devil but a lot more bizarre.
Never mind the woman with the crutch, what about the one at the end with the twenty-pound purse?
And who was the second mannequin in black without the devil mask?
is it just me, or is the devil mannequin white?
i’m trying to decide if that’s odd or not.
could you imagine if the crystal cathedral had a black devil?
nope, i’m sure of it: it’s bad.
and the mannequin in black next to it – is that the bizarro virgin mary?
didn’t someone already take care of the devil?
