Crystal Cathedral Bankruptcy
OK, put on your surprise faces: The ‘Miracle Faith Offering’ Drive Fell Short.
And not just by a little bit: it fell spectacularly short.
The Orange County Register discovered in court papers filed last week that the congregation has only collected $4,737 in their Miracle Faith Offering drive, a far cry from the $50 million owed in debts.
This happened, somehow some way, in spite of the power of prayer:
Moderators of the official “Hour of Power” Facebook page have asked supporters to sign up for “24/7 Prayers” – an effort to seek “God’s miracle that will save Crystal Cathedral,” CP reported Sept. 23.
“Crystal Cathedral is now being prayed for 24 hours a day, 7 days a week,” the message on the Californiamegachurch’s Facebook page declared. “Thank you to all our friends around the world who are praying for God’s miracle that will save Crystal Cathedral.”
I suppose there is a lesson in all of this. I like to believe it means God hates the Crystal Cathedral, but you can draw your own conclusions!

$4k out of $50 million? Why, that’s even worse than an epic failure. That’s almost… Biblical.
Well,god works in mysterious ways,isn’t that what they always tell us,when they have no answers to our questions?
God has spoken. Sometimes the answer is “no”.
Come now, a ‘yes’ to 0.0000947% of the request isn’t technically a ‘no’.
Oh ye of little faith! Obviously that $4000 is “seed money” from God. Now they just have to find the most anointed ministry on earth so they can “sow” into it and be rewarded with a magnificent (several) hundred fold harvest!
I nominate Scotteriology as that ministry, it’s has a flawless reputation for the prophetic so the anointing must be strong here!
