‘God particle’ doesn’t mean ‘substance of which God is composed,’ Mr. Tee. The Higgs boson is an elementary particle that is able to explain several heretofore unexplained forces. It’s affectionately called the ‘God particle’ because it brings us a sizable step closer to a unifying theory of physics.
