Evil unfortunately like good is a persepective issue.
The whole argument about evil disproving Gods existance is a fallacy.
The question is, is there a disernable reason why events happen.
As humans we always think things that help us are good, and things that shock us, cause us pain are evil.
Is it evil that pain exists, that we die, that we are able to live and make choices?
Pain is needed so we do not damage things and ourselves.
Death is a part of nature, all organisms die.
Life is a gamble between staying alive and things that will stop life.
Is it evil when something stops us, or a blessing we lived so long?
Evil, intentional torture by sinful abusive people is evil. This is truely a consequence of free will. The argument is between does love transform us, the people of the Kingdom of the Lord of Hosts, and those who fear pain and death, and wish to do evil on the excuse they do not want to be hurt any more.
Man wants to protect their hearts from the love they feel has been betrayed.
Any excuse to justify this hatred of love and pain they feel is good enough.
Jesus came to say the Lord of Hosts truely loves you and there is a way to be healed and to love from the heart, as you really truely desire. He calls to those who are willing to listen, to those who have been written in the Lambs book of life. Do you have ears to hear his calling?
God is the author of evil. evil is not by necessity “sin”. Good is not necessarily “not sin”.
