In their resources they have images for PowerPoints and videos you can play to break up the monotony of your sermon.

But what I really liked was the Sermon Outlines

That’s right, if you can’t figure out how to repackage the same Father’s Day sermon that we’ve all heard umpteen times–you know that sermon:  about how God your heavenly father is not like your earthly father–then you can make your Father’s Day sermon epic this year by preaching about Jesus Superman.

Maybe Father’s Day isn’t the problem. Maybe it’s a another Sunday and you’ve just got nothing in the creative pastor sermon preparation bag. Don’t worry you’re still covered, and this time you can actually preach about Jesus: The Original Superhero.

Let’s consider how Superman’s humble origins, his high calling, and his transforming sacrifice point us towards Jesus, the original superhero.

Grasping at straws much? Much too much… I’m surprised that they didn’t talk about the fact that Superman wears a red cape and Jesus wears a red sash over his robe! There’s pictorial evidence:

Wow not only is their bearded Jesus, there’s also a pop-Jesus too…I still like baby manger Jesus better; He’s so cute, still learning his shapes and colours while watching baby Einstein videos.
