BibleWorks 9: Installation

August 22, 2011

Installation for BibleWorks 9 is a fairly straight forward process that I’m sure even the most technically challenged person could find their way through.

First, if one has a previous version of BibleWorks they are required to uninstall it. This is an easy process: go to Control Panel, double-click Programs and Features, highlight any previous version and click uninstall at the top of the Control Panel box. Apparently, any notes that you have saved from a prior version will be saved and ported over to BibleWorks 9.

Installing the program is merely the simple process of putting in the first disk and then following the on-screen prompts. The usual installation stuff occurs: clicking next, entering the activation code, and selecting a custom or manual installation of material. The amount of time for installation will depend on the number of resources one chooses to add from the software.

Finally, after installation, one is required to restart their computer.

And just like that: BW9 is now installed.
