The Incredibly Evil Mike Murdock
When I see videos like this I am persuaded by the argument that it is high time churches lose their not for profit tax shelter.
I also feel horrible for the person who can fall for such an obvious scam at the beginning of the video when Satan/Murdock looks at the camera and declares that if someone will put $1000 on their credit card in faith then their debt will be supernaturally wiped out. I know that for many of the people who fall for his bullshit: their brains actually do not work. Parts of the prefrontal and anterior cingulate cortices, which play key roles in vigilance and scepticism when judging the truth and importance of what people say, are deactivated when they listen to a supposed Christian authority.
They have been pre-conditioned by SPS (Shitty Parenting Syndrome), and the socialization/inculcation of their religious groups.I wish I could shake every one of them, “You’re being robbed! Wake up!” “If you give money to Mike Murdock the only person who will see any ‘reward’ is Mike Murdock. He has no special powers. No ATM from heaven.”

Truly deplorable. His triumphant attitude about a woman ‘planting a seed’ to get a house debt-free, and the house coming to her via the death of her relatives (which is how an evil genie would do it), sums up his character nicely. The end justifies the means, as long as the end is material gain of some kind.
Perhaps the most telling thing about him is that he’s still single in spite of an interest in marriage. When all the gold diggers/trophy brides in the country pass on a millionaire who’s basically there for the asking, something’s really, really wrong with him.
This man has a very loyal disciple here in Brazil, called Silas Malafaia, an AoG preacher turned into a religious entertainer. The rotting of his (Malafaia) personality is awesome: he’s now preaching the same crap of prosperity he condemned years ago. His sad person became a sad joke among the Christians who like to think. Malafaia brough Murdock into his TV show, where he (Murdock) preached about seeding ministerial seeds (Malafaia’s ministry, of course) of R$ 1000,00 – about US$ 550! What a HUGE shame!
I can’t agree more that this guy should lose his “not for profit” tax status. What a joke!!! It’s obviously a FOR PROFIT business. The IRS is just as stupid as the people sending him the money. (Actually, I believe all religion institutions should pay some income taxes. Not all people are believers. Mike Murdock is not the only one living the life of luxury. Not to mention the funds that are used to defend priests who are child molesters.) But, a good start would be the Mike Murdock’s, Benny Hinn’s, etc. I’m watching this guy on TV right now. He’s asking for 1,000.00 and blabbing on and on about sowing and harvest. People should take an IQ test before they’re issued a Visa card.

He belongs in prison. He is a thief. Yet he and his fellow criminal “tv preachers” are allowed to ply their trade every single day of the year. Every day they beg you to send them your cash. EVERY SINGLE DAY. How could this kind of activity be considered legal? Sadly, and this is truly unbelievable, there are more than enough desperate people who will give up their cash to these vultures.

Not all Televison preacher’s are corrupt.Nor should they lose tax exempt status.There’s good and evil people in all walk’s of life.I agree 100% this man is a charlatan and would like to see him pulled from the airwave’s.It’s a shame so many apparently fall for his scheem’s being his true agenda seems so obvious.But than again there are alot of desperate people out there.This is a wolf in sheep’s clothing.
