Insane for Jesus: Raped by a Demon!

November 21, 2012

Charisma Magazine asks: “Can you be raped by the devil?” and “Can demons engage in sexual activity with humans?” Let me answer their insane questions for you: no, you cannot be “raped” by the devil. No, you cannot engage in sexual activity with a demon.

But just for fun, let’s look into the mind of a clearly insane and delusional person:

For nearly two decades, Contessa Adams felt as though she had no power against the demonic violators of her body. She felt trapped in secrecy and shame and knew that the demons tormenting her wanted things to stay that way.

But God had another agenda for Adams when she found Christ in 1979. The former stripper has a ministry through which she exposes one of Satan’s darkest secrets—sexual demons.

These spiritual rapists, as Adams describes them in her book, Consequences, often prey on people by performing sexual acts through nightmares and erotic dreams. Some people become so dependent upon these demonic experiences that they actually look forward to them.

“Anybody that has been attacked by them will tell you … they’re worried [that] they could not find that pleasure with mortal people,” says Adams, who claims she was once possessed by sexual demons.

So, apparently, in their glorified state you can only be “Touched by an Angel,” however, when these celestial beings fall they get all rapey and stuff?

But wait, there’s more (unfortunately). It wouldn’t be very Christian if we couldn’t disparage homosexuality.

The two most identifiable sexual demons are the incubus, which is a male sexual demon that traditionally assaults women, and the succubus, which is a female sexual demon that assaults men. Sometimes they also lure people into homosexual behavior.

Adams notes that one evangelist, whose name she would not divulge, was so troubled by the sexual pleasure the succubus gave her that she even contemplated suicide.

Adams says the succubus spirit that used to attack her confused her so much that she contemplated becoming a lesbian.

And of course, it wouldn’t be very Charismatic if you didn’t do the magiks against the imaginary adversary

“Unless you’re strong enough to rebuke it, they’ll keep coming back,” she says. “You must speak the Word of God, knowing you have power in the name of Jesus.”

Crazy is as crazy does…

Poe’s law is now in effect. One cannot write a parody of Charisma magazine that would be distinguishable from the actual content of said magazine.

Persons experiencing such impairments need to avail themselves of competent and compassionate professional mental health services. Encouraging such delusions, as it appears Charisma magazine is doing, is unhelpful to say the least.

What she is describing as “demons” are what most of us would call “erotic dreams”. Ironically, the most reliable way to suppress erotic dreams is to have an active sex life. Suppressing sexuality in real life triggers erotic dreams, it’s nature’s method of sex education.

I wish I understood why these people always hide behind Jesus. How did we get so far off of his true message?

It reminds me of this video I recently came across– it’s a cute little song about how Jesus and his followers actually Occupy Jerusalem.

    Anyways, here it is:

    Which, it has a point.
