There is a lot of disturbing to go around in this video. From the tribal feel to the pastor rubbing this boy in what has to be the most awkward prayer I have ever seen, and I grew up in charismatic circles, so it’s not like I haven’t seen any of this.
The celebration and then intimate slow dance at the end leave me at a loss of words… we have talked about this before here: why the Sheol does anyone think this is a good idea to put on the internet? At the very least someone needs to make sure that the guy in the green shirt does not get any alone time with that poor kid.

At least green-shirt is not praying (? or whatever it is he is doing) with/for a girl.
Doesn’t his shirt get a mention an Incubus song, by the way?
Some people are apparently led to believe that “Holy Spirit” in the Greek spells “hysteria”!
Or “Shamanistic Trance” or “Mesmeric Crisis.”
A lot of the more frenzied behavior of Pentecostals keeps reminding me of Voudun — the part where Legba opens de Gate and de Loa mount their Horses and ride.
Whoa… this is… intense. Poor guy looks suffocated.
This is just emotionalism, period – nothing to do with God, Jesus, or the Holy Spirit. Watch the film Marjoe for more examples of it, along with an explanation (highly recommended for all christians, especially those in the pentecostal or charismatic movements). I think it was uploaded to YouTube by someone who posts examples of craziness. I suspect it’s at a oneness or apostolic pentecostal gathering, which are sadly known for this sort of thing.
