In what sounds like a Driscoll quote, Anderson describes contemporary worship leaders as “queer, little sissies.” (6:00 mark)
Anderson’s wonderful Youtube commentary on the video, “When most unsaved, worldly men hear Christian Contemporary “praise/worship” style music, they usually sum it up in one word: “gay.” I agree.” I’d like to see the study he is referring to…
It’s a good thing no one showed him this post on Rick Pino or Anderson would lose his mind!
Anyways, a good palette cleanser after watching Anderson ‘preach’ on anything is his Worst Preacher Ever 2009 championship award. In that post, there is a video of Anderson after he got his blessed assurance handed to him by some border guards. Every time I hear him speak I think about that and it makes me feel just a little better!

BUT…Christian Contemporary Music is indeed the world’s lamest popular music form
(after Japanese Pop), but “gayness” has nothing to do with it. Except for the almost homoerotic “love” the (male) singers express towards the J-Man.

Years ago on Internet Monk, there was a comment that in rural Kentucky the highest praise you can say about a preacher was “He has NO book larnin, and He Is LOUD!”
Someone should send him that hipster Jesus Newsweek cover. He’d literally explode.
If every song has to be sung loud, I guess he doesn’t support the hymn “Softly and Tenderly.”
